Fundraising for Student Accounts: There are two major types of fundraising that can be done to raise funds to cover student course fees. * Parent/Student Volunteer hours with RS3 Concessions or * Fundraising Item Sales
Parent/Student Volunteer opportunities: RS3 Concessions operates concessions for both the Dell Diamond & HEB Center. They offer fundraising opportunities for students (16 or older) and or family members to work concession areas for events being held at the facilities. Each volunteer session is worth a minimum of $50 per person. Some sessions also offer a percentage of the revenue sales from the concession venue. • Students and parents are allowed to work and earn $50 per shift / per individual. Money is then donated for the student to the Cedar Ridge Theatre department which can then be used to pay for obligations within the department. • Students MUST work with a parent or other adult. •Adults must be TABC certified (by taking an online course). •Workers provide their own work attire. •Workers commit to specific shift dates and times. • Workers are responsible for finding someone to work for them if they are unable to fulfill a commitment.
Fundraising Sales / Items: Throughout the school year the theatre department will offer various items that a student can sell to earn funds for their student accounts. Fundraising items have been:
